Coraline ♫-track & some rambling

First I posted the trailer to Coraline, and now the soundtrack… What next? (No, not a recap. Maybe a pdf of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline the Original? Maybe not.) Doesn’t this fixation look awfully like an obsession?

Eh, not really. I’m just upset about not being able to see Pippin. I mean, Stephen Schwartz wrote the music! I didn’t get to see Wicked, (which is regret #1). Now, I’m going to miss Pippin because if school would just end a week early, I will be breathing in the theatrical awesomeness and radiate incandescently. So that makes regret #2 (in terms of theatrical indulgence). 😦 What’s special about this particular performance is that it’s being performed in both spoken English (duh, it’s a musical!) AND American Sign Language — that makes me miss DOUBLE the fun. 😦 So here I am, trying to compress that ugh-ness into a little fixation point, and then, projecting it onto Coraline so I can stop trying to set that Pippin flyer pinned next to my desk on fire using my scorching gaze of resentment. BAH!

ANYWAY. Sorry to make you read all that… Here is the soundtrack.
